Story :
The story of the film starts with Lord Vishunu (Brahmanandam) promising an entertaining story to Lakshmi Devi (Kovai Sarala). For this he chooses settlement broker Ravi Teja (Ravi Teja) in Hyderabad and a taxi driver Ileana (Ileana) in Bangkok. The actual story of the film begins with a banana peel thrown by Papayya (M S Narayana) which goes to a serious mood. Unhappy with the story, Lakshmi Devi turns back the time till the banana peel thrown on road by Papayya. New story begins after this in second half. What are the stories and why first story goes to serious mood? Is the second story goes in happy mood is rest of the movie.
Performances:
Ravi Teja is good at his role and justified his role as usual, however there is no variation in his role when compared with his previous movies.
Ileana looks sexy in the film with her customs. However, she has limited role to perform as usual.
Prakash Raj's performance as the absent minded Don is good. He has some variations in the movie in terms of role.
Brahmanadam and Kovai Sarala fails to bring hilarious laugh to audience. They didn't suit the role of Lord Vishunu and Lakshmi Devi. I understand that director used these characters to bring some laughs, but he failed to reach audience expectations.
Ali has a limited role as taxi driver Goli in Bangkok. He did his job well. MS Narayana has a limited role.
Subba Raju's character resembles role in Pokiri. He is routine.
Jyothi Rana fulfills the role of vamp. Gabriela's item song is OK.
Analysis:
As usaul, director Puri Jagannath came up with an idea without any story. He tried to entertain audience with his new concept. After making successful movie like 'Businessman' Puri tried something different. I agree that this is a new concept, but the characterizations of the actors are a lag. Puri who is popular for his dialogues will get thumbs down for the dialogues in DCM. He didn't reach his trend set standard. He tried to give a different climax but need to wait for audience response how they accept it.
Raghu Kunche's music is good in songs, but background score of the movie is not upto mark. Few songs are pictured well on screen.
Audience can feel the loop holes in editing and screenplay. Few songs are like speed breakers in the movie which are placed in wrong place.
The movie is made with good production values which is a plus point. Almost all the characters of the movie has their real names which is an interesting note. Puri's satire on Google Search is one of the highlight of the movie. Few comedy scenes in the movie brings some laughs.
Finally:
In one word, Puri's experiement is failed. However, one can watch the movie to feel Puri's experiement and Ravi Teja's performance and for a bit of comedy.
